Where is this location?

This is Barnet. The bus is turning right from St Albans Road into the High Road

This bus is not RT3153 as it was registered KYY882 and was a green bus that was in Grays in 1967 and spent most of its service life in SW London Country territory only transferring to Grays in 1965 before spending the rest of its service life as a green bus in the eastern London Country area. The RT buses did not have matching registration numbers like the routemaster and I have not been able to find registration KTT862's RT number. Or are my eyes failing, what is the registration?

I have looked further into the sources available to me and need to confirm the registration number. RT3153 was registered KYY882, but KTT862 my original thought or KTT882 or KYY862 were not use by London Transport. So it seems the Sherlock Holmes test is in play. Can you confirm the number before any additional research is undertaken. Eliminate the impossible and whatever remains....

I have now looked again at the original image and enlarged it and can confirm that the registration is definitely KYY 862 which makes it RT 4259

RT4259 was at Potters Bar garage the home of route 84 from July 1962 to July 1966. That is the time period for this photo.

Thanks. Yes the 84 ran from Potters Bar as one of my Trinity school mates came in from there, as Potters Bar was in Middlesex County in the 50s and early 60s, but now in Hertfordshire. I recognise this junction now as I use the A1081 from the A1/ M5 junction there when I drive to London from Staffordshire.
