I was born in October 1962 and the last one ran in London in May 1962, so I missed the pleasure of travelling in one until a few years ago at the Carlton Colville Transport Museum. Great picture, with my 'Disney castle' featured behind!

I see the route number of this bus is 521. I used to catch the 521 or the 621 from Tally-Ho Corner when I was at school at Hillside Sec-Mod!

I lived on Station Road and the trolleybuses used to lose their arms on the corner if they took the bend too fast
