This is taken about the same time and the same spot and where I use to ‘Train Spot’ from, also stood up on this Old Bridge for hours at a time. I lived in Garfield Road.

Can any railway enthusiast decipher the train's number and name, please? Useful to drop into the conversation to impress friends who did not have the advantage of living near the LNER main line.

I found the answer to my own question by searching again by keyword and there is a duplicate entry on this website, item 4664, exactly same photo but another person has commented. The train is 60185 Victor Wild, and my Wood Green school friend,Donald Turner, has added it was originally Class A1 in 1923, converted to Class A3 in 1942. Condemned in 1963.
