Oakleigh Park North, N20"The Laurels", later "Hope Lodge" (John Heathfield Collection)

I have a copy of a painting done by Henry Freeman Marks from exactly the same angle who seems to have done this drawing also. There is a caption on the back "Chelwood House, Oakleigh Park, September 1888". The family of Thomas Septimus Marks (Henry's father) lived in this house from late 1870's to 1890's according to the census where it is shown as being called "The Laurels"

Does anyone know exactly where this house was and if it still stands? I notice that a house of a similar model still stands at 65, Oakleigh Park North but it is clearly a smaller version of this house. Perhaps the person who uploaded this picture might have some info and maybe there is an inscription on the back as there is on the painting that we have.
