This was a bit before my time 1966 to 2016 I owned the third shop down from Ravenscraig Road. From the shop door of The Chair Centre this was my exact view up towards Cross Road. Just behind the tree to the right of the lamp post is 385 home of the Cenci family their son Paul helped me deliver furniture after school. He's still a friend 45 years later.

That was great to see as I lived at 413 Bowes Road from 1951 to 1956 so stirred my memories. I then moved to Ravenscraig Road for 7 years. Great times! I remember the glass shop on the corner which had a couple of beautiful ornaments on show
