These buildings used to be the kitchen and dining rooms when it was Southaw Girls School. They were there in the 1950's so were probably built in the 1940's when the school leaving age was raised to 15 and HORSA's were erected on school sites all over the country. There were 4 classrooms in HORSA's as I recall. HORSA is Hutting Operation for the Raising of School Age
