A steam crane at the site of the train crash at New Southgate on 17 July 1948. Sadly the fireman was killed; passengers were treated at the STC factory alongside the track

Interesting that it shows the tracks that were used to deliver coal to the STC site. It went through a tunnel to the boiler house.
